Throw some glamour on the bed …….

I don’t mean drape yourself over the sheets , well you can if you want , why not ring the changes with a fabulous throw over the bed – it give the room a quick make over and adds some texture and maybe some additional colour ..

Key Lime Cupcakes...


1 3/4 cups self-rising flour
65g unsalted butter
1 1/4 cup sugar
2 large eggs
2 1/2 tablespoons fresh lime juice
1 tablespoon lime zest
1/4 teaspoon green food coloring
3/4 cup buttermilk

Frosting Ingredients

225g cream cheese
1 1/2 cups icing sugar
65g unsalted butter
1 tablespoon lime zest
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

How to make your cupcakes

Preheat oven to 180°C gas mark 4. Line standard muffin pan with paper cases. 

 Beat butter and sugar in large bowl until smooth.

Then add in the eggs one by one 

Add the lime juice lime zest and green food coloring to this batter.

Now slowly add the flour and butter milk alternately and beat all the ingredients till they are all blended.

Bake cupcakes until tester inserted into center comes out clean, 20 to 25 minutes.

Cool on a rack

How to make the frosting

Beat all ingredients in bowl until smooth.
