Some Irish Scent ………

We discovered this candle brand the other week and then someone we know told us about them as she had been given one as a gift and was so impressed she bought some – the scents are fabulous , they burn cleanly and lift the mood in any room. I have been brought up surrounded by candles my mother the infamous Mrs.D is a massive candle fan – she always has one burning and I know how they can transform a room and lift not just the aroma but the atmosphere.

Max Benjamin candles are a family business in every sense of the word – it’s founded and run by two brothers Mark and David Van den Bergh and the business is named after their nephews Max and Ben, who are the sons of their sister Orla – they have been making candles since the early 1990’s. The collection has evolved over the years from the original Oberg range of hand poured pillar candles into what is now an international brand which currently includes 15 fragrances of luxury natural wax candles. They are available through their site or from John Lewis and other big retailers and they are beautifully packaged and boxed.
