Reclaim the garden and get ready for the summer………

Yes I know we have had some sunshine the last few days but remember it’s only April so lots of summer ahead (I have always been an optimist!) so why not jazz up your outdoor space and get some vital crockery for those long nights and days lounging around in the sunshine.

Habitat has got some great quirky bits and pieces which look fabulous but needn’t break the bank account and you’re not ashamed to offer a glass to friends.

Aubrey Outdoor fairy lights £25.00 (Habitat)

Let’s go wild ……..

I love wallpaper as you can just do one wall and make a huge statement and also you can use it to bring together a whole room or introduce a whole new colour successfully – I’m not overly keen on that whole two types of wallpaper and then a border and, and, and – then the whole room looks small and fussy and usually it’s a mish mash of floral, stripes and something else.
No I like something unusual and statement like so one wall and it transforms what is a bland room in to a warm chic room.
I have been toying with the idea of animal prints and the other day on the train to London came across some on this great site Wallpaper Direct.
Tillery by Osborne & Little £42.50 per roll (wallpaperdirect)

Okay this is the top of the range and very subtle and very chic and I should imagine looks great in any number of rooms – this is the bronze and chocolate brown colour way – it is 0.52m wide and 10 meters long on the roll and the repeat is 0.26cm
Silver Ocelot by Albany £17.99 per roll (wallpaperdirect)

This is silver ocelot fur design in stripes – so using silver grey would look excellent with a white room on one wall or to lighten a dark – this is 0.52meter wide and 10.05meter long and the pattern repeat is 0.53meter.
Ocelot by Albany £17.99 per roll (wallpaperdirect)

This is a play on the ocelot print in brown and cream in a striped effect, this comes in a width of 0.52meter and 10.05 meter length and the repeat pattern is 0.53 meter.
